Tuesday evening was the ‘Mostly Red’ conference dinner where we were encouraged to wear something red with the promise of a prize for the most impressive. As they had promised the Swets team made a big effort each wore a red t-shirt with a letter printed on it, when lined up in order this spelt out Swets Simplifies, they completed the look with a red cowboy hat. The end result looked like a very unusual hen party and they spent much of the night ensuring they didn’t spell any inappropriate words with their t-shirts! In then end the prize went to a man who had clearly understood ‘Mostly red’ as ‘mostly read’ and adorned his outfit with pages of the Sun, Mirror and Star.
A band - Joey and the Lips followed the conference dinner but after a late one on Monday night I left Karina to the disco and shared a taxi with the Swets team back to the hotel.
